Award winning artists Theresa Goesling and Cindy Briggs, have been recognized in Watercolor Magazine, and in a selection of Arts Magazines and Newspapers, along with exhibiting work in galleries and National Juried Shows.  With over 24 years each as professional artists, they began as art directors for national advertising agencies and then directed their talents to fine art and teaching. Between them they have over 20 years experience teaching in the studio, classroom and on location in Europe and the US.  Whether teaching solo or “side by side” as a team and long time friends, they share their energy, knowledge and enthusiasm to help their students capture most any given subject with captivating colors and ambiance.

Cindy Briggs, Bend, Oregon artist and international workshop instructor, is distinctly known for her sun drenched cityscapes and rockscapes, luminous passageways, ethereal colors and dramatic compositions. 

 

A master of translucent watercolors, Cindy also works in oils and pastels. Her work has been featured in numerous solo, group, invitational, national and regional juried shows, Including the National Watercolor Society Show in LA. You can also find her featured in newspaper and magazine articles, in promotional materials and logos. She has served as chair and juror for National Shows.  From a family of professional artists, Briggs earned a degree in design with a minor in art history from BYU—she has also studied with many notable artists.  Cindy serves on the NWWS Board and is a Signature Member, she is currently a member of the NWS,  WSO, and served as President of
the High Desert Art League in Central Oregon.

Noted Northwest artist and international workshop instructor, Theresa Goesling, creates her vibrant paintings with striking compositions, and original imaginative techniques.

 

Theresa’s rich captivating watercolors, acrylics, oils and pastels are held in private collections;  Swedish Medical Center, The Junior League, Microsoft executives and NBA players. Her landscapes and portraits have won numerous awards and have been featured on posters and in magazines.

With worldwide exposure, Theresa worked as an advertising art director for 14 years. She has studied with numerous prominent artists and has a graphic design and illustration degree from the Art Institute of Seattle. Theresa served as the first Act Two Guild President of PACE—Performing Arts Center Eastside, she is also a NWWS Signature Board Member,
and member of the AWS,NWS, EAFA, and the Bellevue Art Museum Guild.
