About The Instructors: |

Award winning artists - Theresa Goesling (left) & Cindy Briggs (right) have each worked over 22 years as professional artists, with over 16 years combined teaching in the studio, classroom and on location. Featured in Watercolor Magazine, co-authors and enthusiastic instructors - they have developed lessons to help their students capture the colors and ambiance of the Mediterranean. All levels and mediums are welcome on this tour.

Cindy Briggs is known for her sunlit cityscapes, dramatic passageways, and intimate compositions. Her ethereal watercolors are clean, colorful and harmonious. She has a degree in graphic design with a minor in art history and worked as an art director in SF, LA & Seattle for 15 years before painting full time. Recognized for her watercolors, she also enjoys working with oils and pastels. Briggs is represented by Takara and Mirror Pond Gallery in Bend, Oregon, and teaches at her Bend Studio, with Creative Resource Foundation and at the Art Station in Central Oregon. She is a NWWS Signature and past Board Member, Member NWS, WSO and President of the High Desert Art League.

Vibrant expressive colors and confident compositions make a statement in Theresa’s paintings. She studied fine arts/design at the University of Washington and graduated in design/illustration from the Art Institute of Seattle. She worked as an art director in Chicago and in Seattle for Eddie Bauer. Goesling’s watercolors, oils, acrylics, and pastels grace the homes of many top executives and NBA stars and has been featured on posters, postcards and in local magazines. |

She is a member of AWS, NWS, EAFA, Bellevue Art Museum Guild and Signature Member of the Northwest Watercolor Society. Theresa is a featured artist in the 425 Magazine November 2007 issue. Theresa is currently President of PACE’s Act Two Guild.
